«Kontur 700TP» is designed for applying horizontal road marking onto concrete-asphalt and cement-asphalt roads with mod-ern thermoplastics while using reflective glass beads. The machine’s maximum performance is 2000 m² of marking a shift (ap-prox.: 8 working hours).
Technological Properties
A broom is installed on the machine for mechanical cleaning of the road surface, which allows for easier preliminary cleaning of the road before marking application.
The existence of a cruise-control system allows for applying the marking with a constant speed.
Functionality
The machine has a fortified frame, which allows for lowering the negative impact of potholes and bumps on the process of road marking, and it also allows for extension of the machine’s time of service.
Comfort
An extruder, a broom, and an operator’s seat can be installed on either side of the machine: left or right. The machine is equipped with a hydraulic steering booster to ease the maneuvering in the city conditions, which allows for an easier machine control.

A marking application carriage consists of a heated reservoir, a screw pump and an extruder.
A thermoplastic tank is made of stainless steel and is equipped with a vertical mixer. The heating of the tank is done with a help of a heat carrying agent which is heated with a burner. The oil and the material temperature is controlled with a heating controller.
The screw pump is equipped with a rotations control system which allows for regulating the material consumption depending on the type of applied marking.
The extruder is designed for applying the road marking with thermoplastic followed by the application of reflective glass beads. The extruder allows the application of lines with the width from 5 to 40 cm in various combinations. As standard the extruder is equipped with eight valves with a width of 5 cm, on request the width and the quantity of the valves can be changed. The control system of opening the valves allows for application of continuous and noise lines, lines with periodically changed structure and pattern.
The time of each valve closing can be regulated, It allows for compensating the uneven valves’ and thrust bar’s wear and tear.
The valves and the body of the extruder are provided with the oil heating which eliminates the cooling of the thermoplastic during the work process. The heating of all the thermoplastic application system’s elements (the tanks, the screw pump and the extruder) provides the evenness of the plastic’s temperature while it’s in the kettle and while it’s being applied onto the roadway. It guarantees the optimality conditions of the thermoplastic application which provides its maximum lifetime.
The extruder is equipped with the system of express cleaning for the elimination of clogging and other hard particles. The system of express cleaning allows for maximal opening of all the valves creating an unobstructed passing of the hard particles and the clogging. The system of express cleaning can be used directly during the marking application process.
