Traffic paints for pavement marking

Traffic paints АК-511 «Sprinter» and АК-512 «Gorozhanka» have been developed for use in marking lengthwise lines, such as those on pedestrian crossings and inter-urban highways.

The paint is ready for immediate use. To be applied with specialized road striping equipment both airless and pneumatic upon dry and clean asphalt concrete road surfaces at the temperature no lower than 50*C with the humidity level no higher than 85%. Solvent which is supplied together with the paint upon customer’s request is used for cleaning the pavement marking equipment after the paint application. The recommended paint expense is in the range of 500 – 800 gr/sq.m. depending upon the traffic intensity, the type of the road marking to be applied and the road surface treatment. The recommended glass bead expense is from 200 up to 250 gr/sq.m. The period guaranteed for the paint being in active service on the road is no less than 6 months.

The basic purpose of the traffic paint application onto the roads is increasing and maintaining the overall traffic safety level. The paint has a long-lasting and durable whiteness and a short dry-to-touch time. For the purpose of demarking previously applied lines the paint may be of a black color. It is also manufactured in a yellow color for striping pedestrian crossings and for some temporary applications and in red/orange for marking safety islands, factory premises etc.
